Chlorophytum burundiense can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Chlorophytum burundiense
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chlorophytum burundiense after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Sherrill's got a brand-new pot! And possibly too much sun? It's a self-watering pot. She's right next to a west-facing window, idk if that's too much sun for a spider plant? But hey! So far so good! She lasted longer than my kalanchoe did.

My spider plant is sagging! I've had my spider plant for about a year now and it has grown tremendously since then, but I've come to watering it tonight and noticed that the stems (or base?) is starting to sag and flop over. At the moment I'm using a piece of geode and my grow light to make sure that it doesn't fall over. I did forget to water it for maybe a week or two due to life events, but it has received water tonight. I water it once a week to keep it from becoming over-watered. Leaves are very green aside from one or two leaves that are a bit brown on their tips. Dead leaves have been ripped off to keep it healthy before this. Is it time to repot and put it in a taller pot to keep it from sagging? Or is it just telling me that I had forgotten to water it and it's sad? #spiderplant
