How to fertilize Calathea Sanderiana
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Calathea Sanderiana after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I watered my plants right before I went on vacation for a week, and when I got back my peace lily was not looking too good. Any recommendations? And I know it says that it’s been a month since I watered it… but it’s been much more recent than that. 😆

Help! He’s so droopy and sad. Some of the leaves are curly with black tips. I don’t know what to do.

New leaves rotten I adopted this Calathea Medallion from Ikea on January. So far she was thriving, she growed 4 flowers in March and 4 new leaves were growing. However, only 1 of the new leaves has grown normal, while 2 of them grown yellow and whithered, with the stems flacids and not responding to the pattern of movement of the prayer plant. Ancient leaves are all still good. I've already removed the leaves; the base of their steams seem to be rotten. I'm considering repotting the plant, as it could be a root problem. If somebody had a previous experience and can give me some advices I would highly appreciate!! Thanks in advance! #Calathea #Calatheamedalion #medallion

Just look at her :( I think its humidity level is low, I added a dish with water and marbles, and started to use my humidifier at night. Should I give up on it? Is there anything I’m missing ? It’s a couple feet from an east facing window. I’m new to plants.

I received this beautiful plant about a month ago and she started to develop these spots.. I’m relatively new to the plant mom life. I’m wondering what this could be? #Calathea

Hard is right #Calathea this rattlesnake plant is hilarious. It’s done nothing but whine about how it hates everything. Yesterday I put an ivy plant next to it and it flopped over like I hate it get it away. But funny thing is I was doing hydrogen peroxide treatments and accidentally dumped like 3 ounces straight peroxide in the pot then flushed with water and now it’s growing its first new leaf in like 6 months….. what kind of magic is that

Calathea Silver has sticky substance that looks luminous underneath its lower leaves. Is this normal?

I replanted this in soil that’s quite dense and the leaves are curling up. Should I repot it into well drained soil? #Calathea
