Finding light for Basil in your home
a window
Basil may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Basil in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Basil
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Basil after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

what IS this?!😦 i use Back to the Roots potting soil, they live on my balcony currently so no direct sunlight, they weren’t like this yesterday! i don’t see any bugs- i do need to separate them into their own pots soon, they’ve been in this pot for about 2 weeks now. one thing i did notice with this newer bag of BTTR soil, there was way less perlite than the first bag i bought which concerned me a bit. any tips??

What is happening to my basil :( Is it cause of the weather swings? I hope it's not that fungi wilt that isn't curable #planttherapy #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newplantmom #plantcorner
