About Aloe 'Key Lime'
Many people are familiar with Aloe vera, but this genus of plants contains tons of other beautiful succulent plants that come in all sorts of colors! Their succulent leaves evolved to store water in dry climates, which makes them a perfect fit if you're a busy plant parent. With great care (and a lot of sunlight) you may even see your Aloe bloom! Their flowers grow out of a large spike and can be shades of red, orange, and yellow. 🔥

How to fertilize Aloe 'Key Lime'

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aloe 'Key Lime' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

So happy with this progress! He lost all his roots to root rot last summer 🙃 but I’ve had him in coco husk for a few months and look how happy he is! He even has three babies! I’ve just potted him up by a 1/2 inch and into terracotta and now he’s enjoying a nice bottom water. Always so rewarding to bring a plant back to health! 🤗🪴🌿 #RootPorn #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #Aloe #HedgehogAloe #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #babevila

Can a plain Aloe Vera come back I used this pot for several years for Aloe Vera - rare sun but very heathy. I finally put two Blue Aloe Vera and topped it off with soil from really old dead tulips. This sprouted up some days ago and looks like my original and isn't close enough to be connected. I don't know if it's possible a plant could come back after 5 years #Aloe #succulent #happyplants

Aloe drooping - please help Hiya all! Urgent help needed❤️ My mother gave me her Aloe plant that was gifted to her by my terminally ill father..she’s asked me to save it because it’s sentimental, and she doesn’t have the time for the plant as she cares for my father. Anyway, it’s an Aloe Sunrise and it was bought as two Aloe plants in the same pot. One was too far gone to be saved. Because they were both a good size I think there wasn’t enough nutrients in the soil for the two of them, because one was really healthy and the other was dead. I removed the dead one, and repotted the living one into the same pot with fresh soil (miracle gro succulent mix - which has seemed to do well for my other succulents), and the pot does have good drainage. But since the repotting it has just drooped a lot, and the base of the leaves are very squishy. How can I save it? I thought about putting it into a terracotta pot or changing the soil but I don’t want to cause anymore stress to the plant. I’m really hoping it’s just throwing a temper tantrum over the repotting. Any help is much appreciated! #AloeVera #help #SadPlant #Aloe #Dyingplant
