Aloe compressa
About Aloe compressa
Many people are familiar with Aloe vera, but this genus of plants contains tons of other beautiful succulent plants that come in all sorts of colors! Their succulent leaves evolved to store water in dry climates, which makes them a perfect fit if you're a busy plant parent. With great care (and a lot of sunlight) you may even see your Aloe bloom! Their flowers grow out of a large spike and can be shades of red, orange, and yellow. 🔥

How to fertilize Aloe compressa

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aloe compressa after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hello, my plant is getting lighter and turning a bit yellow, even though it’s usually quite dark. Is that normal? (Considering I just repotted it) #AloeVera

Help! The leaves of my aloe vera look a bit curled up. She gets water around once every two weeks, and gets 1-2 hours of sun daily (when there is some 😅) through the window. What’s wrong? #AloeVera

Is this actually a cape aloe? Cape aloe was the closest plant I could find in the app’s options that looked like mine. Very new to the plant game, thanks for the help! #CapeAloe

Hi I am to new to this site and chat. I have what I think is a type of Aloe. It’s been doing great outside. I live in AZ. So it does heat up. It doesn’t get full sun more afternoon sun. Well the leaves all of a sudden are turning yellow. I think I might have over watered as we have been in the 100’ plus. What should I do. Hate to lose it. Thanks for any help

Sick, I don't have any idea #AloeVeraI Hello!!! I have watered it every two weeks (almost to the top of the wood, like 3-4cm more or less), I put finely ground eggshell on it (previously washed and dried well), I have it near a window that gives it a little sun and heat but only the leaves are drying out and losing them. The soil has no insects or leaves. I don't know what to do, it seems to be dying little by little. It's my first plant, I bought it because it doesn't require specific or difficult care, but apparently I'm bad at taking care of plants :c #survivorlol
