How to fertilize Alocasia Corazon
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Alocasia Corazon after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Scarlet has a new leaf!

Losing too many leaves?! My mythic dragonite was doing wonderful until this winter season. I’ve kept it away from direct light, but wondering if a grow light is needed… seems like it’s getting overwatered, but the soil isn’t moist when I go to water. The two other leaves are growing strong, this would be the second leaf to yellow and die off. Help ?!

This is in fact a flower, correct? Not an alien? I am absolutely astonished. 1) I had no idea that these things bloomed? 2) I can't manage to keep an anthurium alive to save my life but I can manage a bloom on an alocaisa? 3) I treated this thing for spider mites for weeks and weeks just a couple months ago. Infact I think I stopped looking at it with a magnifying glass just last week! I whole heatedly thought this was a leaf coming in! Does this mean I can relax that the spider mites have successfully been eradicated? Soooooo many QUESTIONS⁉️. I thought I would share because it's actually a REALLY PRETTY FLOWER, HUH? and I am wondering if the color of the bloom varies between the "dragon scale" variants or no? @TheConservator #plantaddict #happyplants #newgrowth #alocasiaaddicts #alocasia #adhdplantlovers

Is this plant okay? #AlocasiaAmazonica I got this alocasia from Walmart because it was so pretty, and I know I have to quarantine it but at first glance, does it look like it has spider mites or any other pest issues? It mostly looks like dust on the leaves, but I’m not very knowledgeable on spider mites or pests except for gnats. I didn’t realize one of the leaves was ripped off (you can see in the last 2 photos) until after I got home from buying it :( It has been repotted into a newer, chunkier soil by the way.

What to do? I brought this alocasia home last week. The big leaf now turned yellow. What should I do? It is under a grow light and near humidifier now. The soil is damp to touch but not too wet. I have watered once with #HappyHappyHouseplantFood #AlocasiaAddicts @DreamMachine

My plant has Big brown spots all over the leaves. Is this too much water? I have been watering it using the watering schedule in this app.
