About Black garlic
Black garlic is a super rare houseplant 🌿 that needs regular watering to thrive. They do best in long-lasting, direct light ☀️ and should be less than 1 foot from a window.
Black garlic likes soil that is well draining. Your plant shouldn't need added fertilizers if you repot each time it doubles in size.

How to fertilize Black garlic
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Black garlic after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Fungus?? Hey Greg fam! What is this on my green onion plant?? It’s sort of a white wildewey looking substance. Is it possibly a pest or fungi? What should I do about this? I’ve treated it with Neem oil for now but I’m worried if this is still safe to consume later. Should I just repot? Thanks for any help! 😊 #fungusgnats #helpneeded #PestControl

So happy to share my Green Onion plant, Miley, has matured enough to be able to use fresh scallions in last nights dinner. I trimmed her down and we’re now starting the growth process over again 🥰

Looks like one of my onions might be almost ready to harvest #globeonion #plantsmakepeoplehappy #happyplants

How can I tell the onions are ready? They are growing fast every day! When do I know that the onions are ready without pulling up the bulb? #HappyPlants #Onion #VeggieGardens

Ant infestation All my plants are outside for Feline Pest reasons, and I’ve never had an issue with ants. Gnats, mosquitos, flies? Yes. Ants? No. But this morning when I went to water Phil, he was infested. And I mean, I picked up the pot and ants were piled up under the pot & falling out through the drainage hole. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a natural ant repellant for this guy, and just the patio in general because my cat does follow me out there and roll around. Suggestions?

Can someone tell me what they think these are? They are alive and barely moving. I've had them on my last green onions and they died and the white things was all on the roots and bigger in size. #happyplants #plantaddict #pestcontrol #greenonions #help

Why is one thriving and the other declining 🤔

My garlic is turning yellow and droopy, it’s in full sunlight in the Nordic close to 12 hours of full sun per day. My feeling is that I have over watered it as I have a bottom watering pot to which I added less than half a liter of water couple of days ago but have only top watered it for 2 months and it looked theiving until now. Any tips on how to improve my care? First time growing garlic and I’m used to Chilies and Tomatoes. #Garlic

What the heck happened to my chives 🥺? They were being watered correctly and had adequate sunlight… it also started showing fungus but pretty much all my plants and herbs are. I still don’t know why this is before and this is now
