How to fertilize Brittle Maidenhair Fern

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Brittle Maidenhair Fern after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Dying Plant? Help! I think one of my office plants is dying. Is there anything I can do? I missed one day of watering when I was out of town a month ago and my plant has been on the mends since then. It is possible I may be overwatering it, since I’ve watered it a few more days than what it recommended. I’m a plant novice, if you couldn’t tell!

Last plant haul of the year! The maiden hair ferns from the hardware store clearance shelf, a dracaena reflexa and pair of ppp’s from a shop on Etsy, and the rest are in the comments! #PlantAddict #HappyPlants #RescuePlants #FernFriends #Philodendron

New growth but the leaves are crinkly So I have had this brittle maidenhair fern for a little while now and until a couple of weeks ago, she was doing great. I came back home one day to see that her leaves were all crinkled and the soil was still damp from when I had just watered her a couple of days before. She’s a little under 3 feet from my window and gets a good amount of indirect light, so i’m not really sure how to bring her back.. I’ve noticed tonight though that she has 3 new sprouts, so I watered her and i’m hoping for the best. If anyone has any advice or suggestions on how to bring her back or what would be best to do since there’s new growth, that would be amazing! #NewGrowth #help

Advice!! I recently got a fern and want to repot it. Do they like shallow or deep pots? Can it go in a darker spot about 8 ft away from a window?

Dying fern! Does anybody know what’s wrong and what I need to do to help her? Does she need more humidity? Less sun? I feel so bad for her!

Oh Fern, why? Last year I got a Maidenhair Fern. I stupidly believed at the time it was a low maintenance plant. I now realise, it isn't. However .. I SHALL NOT GIVE UP! so when I bought it, it was green, now it is pretty much purple and brown, and some parts are crispy. Not great! I believe the soil has become hydrophobic so I will repot with fresh soil. I also think I moved her to to big a pot too soon last year, would downsizing her help? How can I make her green and lush again 😭?? Extra information to help: my house is literally an ice cube, I've read recently that they like warm temperatures, would insulating the pot help? She gets indirect light, she used to be on a windowsill in the bathroom but that's when she changed colour and wilted so I've moved her downstairs where other plants have thrived and away from draughts. I thought about cutting away all the dead bits but..I think I would be left with a twig 👀 Can she be saved?! #maidenhairfern #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #dyingplant #greggang #newplantmom

Why so crispy??? #PacificMaidenhairFern So had him a little over a month. I mist it twice a day. I had a grow light on it for the time but removed it to use on another. I just put the light back on it yesterday. I read somewhere that they dont like to be repotted... so i left it in the 3" pot it came in. Maybe its rootbound Idk... this is second one to do same thing. I do have a better grow light coming monday that will be a lot better for it... any tips would be appreciated. Im not giving up the fern thing yet lol 😂
