How to fertilize Adiantum amblyopteridium
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Adiantum amblyopteridium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Why is he missing leave? I had just noticed that Sherlock is missing some well a lot of leaves

@LitheLuscious48 @MamaSirah I don’t know if you guys remember when I last posted about my ferns -the only time other than now that I posted about my ferns- if you remember I had named this one Sherlock, and the other one Watson, but anyway I had also said that I didn’t know the kind of ferns they were…I feel stupid, I am just now as usual watering Sherlock and I had found THE STUPID LABEL THAT IT CAME WITH hidden in the pot, my mother didn’t tell me it was there. Like come on, how did I miss this! Anyway it’s a Rosy Maidenhair Fern. :)

Good morning, I live in Southern California and I have one of these beauties. I keep mine in the patio. Does anyone keep theirs in the patio? If so, how often do you water? #MaidenHairFern

My fern seems to be dying the leaves always seem to be dry even after I water it. What can I do different to save it?

Shriveled up! My pacific maidenhair fern recently started looking like this and i don’t know whats wrong. I water it regularly and it shouldn’t be an issue with water. Im thinking of separating the three plants in the pot and giving them their own pota for more room. But i’m not sure if that will solve the whole problem. Does anyone have any ideas of whats wrong or how to help? Thank you for any response.

How to deal with a dying plant? Some of you may remember my northern maidenhair fern sand it’s struggles and honestly I think it may unfortunately die soon. I’ve don’t all that I can and I’m hoping new growth pops up but if it doesn’t then I’m gonna be pretty upset. I get overly attached to my plants so I may be a bit dramatic with this😅 but how do you guys deal with plant death?

Help :( I just bought this fern about two weeks ago. I live in an apartment that doesn't get a lot of sunlight throughout the day so it's under a plant stand with lights on it. (I currently have the lights on a 9hr cycle) The stand itself is about 1ft from the window and I water her every 3 days and she looks continually unhappy. What should I do?

My northern maidenhair fern is really struggling after I removed mesh from the roots (I tried being as gentle as possible) so as an attempt to save it I’m using the plastic bag “mini greenhouse” method as a way to maintain a high humidity. I’m hoping it’ll be okay, my plants are like my children so if one dies it’s going to be a very bad thing. Fingers crossed it’ll recover!
