Philodendron cordatum
About Philodendron cordatum
Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

Philodendron cordatum can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Philodendron cordatum in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Philodendron cordatum
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodendron cordatum after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Growing great. But what might be the cause of brown spots on leafs? #Philodendron
-
What do these leaves mean? #Philodendron leaves are turning yellowish brownish. there’s also some crispy brown ones that fell off but it’s not that close to the window. Am I overwatering because idky that would make it turn brown. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PestControl #HangingPlants

4 all pink leaves on PPP. Would you chop or hope for new growth at previous chop point? I chopped it about a month ago due to the leaves not unfurling. The leaves unfurl now, they're just all pink😂😅 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Philodendron #PinkPrincessPhilodendron #PinkPlantsofGreg #NewGrowth

What should I do? So my I finally was able to take a pic of the mealybugs but I also think it might have some thrip in the soil I'm thinking of just repotting with new soil but Phil is producing so much growth I don't wanna mess it up I'm treating the bug problem but I don't see any progress with the thrips. What should I do to fix this #philodendron
