How to fertilize Variegated Joseph's Coat
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Variegated Joseph's Coat after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

White patches on prickly pear? I just got this prickly pear yesterday and am very excited about it! I noticed that there are some whiter patches on it - is this normal or anything to be concerned about? I also noticed 3 tiny black spiders in the bag when I brought it home and am concerned this is a pest, but don’t see any signs of spider mites. #PricklyPear

Bunny Ears Cactus help! #PricklyPear I have had this cactus for about 7 or 8 years. All of a sudden she started turning yellow and shriveling up:( she has been like this for a few months. She used to thrive and grow so much, I am wo during if the regular potting soil i have been using it finally starting to affect her? Should I invest in some cactus soil? Or any other advice to what you guys think I should do? I hope she isn't dead but I am still new to plants so I am not sure😅

Winter watering, mine still seems thirsty? #PricklyPear I’m located in Phoenix and have kept my variegated Joseph’s coat cactus outside since the spring and brought it in about a month ago. I had to consistently water it to keep up with Phoenix heat. It’s been under a grow light since bringing it inside. I’ve cut back on the water (was every few days because of the heat) to what has been once every two weeks but the pad offshoots seem to be curling and I can only guess this is from being thirsty? Does anyone else have any other thoughts on why they would curl? I added a photo of what they look like today versus even just at the beginning of the week. Thanks in advance!

Watering Cactus I just repotted my cactus, and I have no clue when to water it now. I last watered it on the 25th and I don’t know if the repotting will change anything. Can anyone tell me?? Should I wait longer or proceed as normal? Btw he’s kept outside usually (except for at night). When he’s inside I just put him in the window till morning! ALSO is he a drooping prickly pear? This app told me he is but I’m not sure… #CactusClique
