About Key Lime Tree

How to fertilize Key Lime Tree
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Key Lime Tree after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Pruning help #KeyLime This is an air layered lime tree, after looking at him closely it's apparent he'll need some pruning to correct his funky growth. What is the best way to prune him? Thinking to cut just below the weird 90 degree angle on the main branch? I will leave the secondary branches until the main one is established better and then cut them back by half?

Help with my key lime tree Anyone knows what’s causing the leaves to curl and why this one has such marks? Looks like critters

Key lime leaves look burned? My key lime tree is about two years old and moves between the ground and an indoor pot. Recently and very rapidly the leaves have started to look like the ends were burning (pics below)! Any ideas what’s happening and how to help it?! #KeyLime #CitrusGrandPrix #HappyPlants

Just when one kiddo starts recovering, another one starts having issues. 😩 Does anyone have any idea what might be afflicting my poor key lime tree? This started to show maybe three days ago, and I haven't been able to narrow down what the cause is. 1) She's been treated for pests and mold/mildew as a form of preemptive prevention. 2) Her soil is moist a few inches down, but not sopping wet - checked her roots to be safe. 3) She's been living in the greenhouse for a few weeks without issue until now, so I'm not inclined to blame sun scorch. 4) My olive is right next to her and isn't having any issues, so I'm not inclined to blame frost either. I honestly just don't know what to do for her, and I figured if anyone might have an idea it'd be some of you. 🤞😮💨 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #BackyardGreenhouse #SickPlant #Help #KeyLime #LimeTree #LadyNature

The shock of change is getting to my trees a bit, but I know it's just stress from being repotted and put in a new spot. Realistically, I know they'll be alright after a few days of adjusting, but that certainly doesn't mean I won't be stressed too in the meantime. 😅 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #StressedPlants #PlantAddict #BackyardGreenhouse #KeyLime #OliveTree #Pomegranate #CherryTree #PlantMom #StarStringsOasis #LadyNature

So I've decided to become a fruit farmer for the winter in addition to the plants I've already been propagating! 😂 I already have a key lime and an olive tree that are both doing beautifully, and fruits like this aren't very common around here and are usually pretty pricey when we do get them, so why not grow them myself? 🍍🍒🍋 The greenhouse will be ready by the end of the week, so all my trees and hopefully my propagations will be moved in shortly - I'll be sure to post pictures when I'm finished~ 😘🌴🪴 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #HappyPlants #FruitTree #FruitFarmer #KeyLime #OliveTree #Pineapple #CherryTree #Pomegranate #HirtsGardens #LadyNature
