Finding light for Guaria Morada in your home
a window
Guaria Morada may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Guaria Morada in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Guaria Morada
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Guaria Morada after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Whoops it’s actually a #Cattleya So I got this as a present from a botanical gardens years ago. I have great luck with #PhalaenopsisOrchid buuuut just learned this week that DUH SARAH this guy ain’t one. So can anyone teach me more about its care? It has new growth but has never bloomed (and wasn’t blooming when I got it). And I’m afraid to repot because his air roots are grabbing all around the pot (again, like that when he was given to me). I’ll do my own research too but any tips? Thanks! #OrchidLovers #Cattlea #CattleyaOrchid #help #caretips

Orchid looking sad Hello all, I do well with #Orchid usually but in struggling with Prince here. I’ve had him for over two years. He was a gift from a botanical gardens. Never repotted (he’s in bark) and has never bloomed. New leaves but nothing else. Now I’m losing a few stalks as they yellow and squish and then I cut them off. (The oldest leaves were already split like that when I got him.) He gets misted a few times a week and soaked once or twice a month. I just feel like he’s not thriving like my others. Ideas? #PhalaenopsisOrchid #help

Just noticed this today on Flora. Didn't even know it was there because that side of my orchid is facing the wall. #happyplants #cattleaorchid #newgrowth #plantsmakepeoplehappy

What's your opinion on little plants in other plant pots What are your opinions on voyagers in your plants weather it be a "weed" or any other plant plant. Here's my example with flora my orchid. I bought her like this and I think it's lovely to have a little plant interacting with flora so she doesn't get lonely.

In-Vitro Orchid Update! I deflasked my little bb orchid seedling on 07/07 & I just noticed from the photo comparison that there has been noticeable growth in less than a month! …I just have to keep her alive for 2-3 more years before she’s mature enough to bloom 😂 if there is anything growing orchids will teach you, it’s PATIENCE ⏳ *Costa Ricans call themselves Ticos/Ticas, hence her plant name 🥰 #HappyPlants #OrchidLovers #OrchidOrg #TravelingPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy Re: https:// #OasisMely
