Is this a good spot? I wanted to know if this is a good spot for my purple shamrocks. I just got her, and I don’t know much about the plant yet (only what I’ve googled today) + she seems a little dramatic. Great plant to grow!
Even when leaves die off just pick the stem off and new one will start to grow, very easy can’t go wrong!

Before buying this plant you should know that it requires a lot of light. It thrives where there is always light. So if you plan to have your lights turned off frequently and have no other source of light for it, you should buy a different plant.

Droops very quickly when dry, but perks back up very quickly with watering. Does great year round in a bright light spot. Will die if you put it outside. Droopy leaves shrivel off frequently and need to be plucked. Blooms very frequently.

I love my shamrocks! They are a bulb plant and bloom extremely easy. I have new sprouts about every week, a flower once month. We are now getting into the colder months and it still is not dormant! If you decided to give them a "rain bath" the leaves can brown/break, so be careful!

I love waking up and going to see my butterflies. They are so happy, fully open and ready for the day. It’s just an overall fun plant. The butterflies range in color for me. Some are a deep purple, others are a dark lime green and some are even a mixture of both but faded as if bleached. The flowers are absolutely adorable and also open and close at night.

Leaves will die back after a few months or a year but just replant the corms into new soil and they’ll regrow with good light

One of the first plants I purchased back in 2019. Still going strong almost 2 years later! I have propagated this plant a couple times and given the babies as a gift to other family members once they were ready to set out on their own! It’s a strong, stubborn little thing!

Love these! Super fun to watch how much they react to sunlight. They are quite active as they open during daylight and close at sundown. Popping up everywhere and growing like crazy! Everyone should have some.
