How to fertilize Brazilian Pricklypear
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Brazilian Pricklypear after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I just spin the dice on. I got this. Who likes my cactus #WhatPlantIsThis

My prickly pear cactus is bent over / droopy ? Why? I usually water it every 2 weeks or so because it’s outside and gets hot. It’s in a growing phase because it’s summer now and it’s outside. I live in Canada so I put the cactus outside on my balcony in summer. Anyways we had a very hot last few days so sometimes I check the soil and add very very little water when it’s really hot. Today after our very hot spell it’s 18 to 20 C now and pretty cold for summer. My cactus leaves are bent / droopy. So wonder what I should do? Did it not get enough sun? Too much water? Too little water? Too cold? I’m just going to wait it out for now. I did touch soil and it seemed dry but not crazy dry. Any advice going forward is appreciated. Thank you.

Oh no! Please tell me these are not new bugs!! (SOLUTION posted in comments: Guttation ! ) I just found what appear to be dew droplets on my #BrazilianPricklypear . They feel like tiny salt crystals, and if them opened and was sticky. . I did the best I could with photos. Please tell me this is normal and not another pest!!!! Def does not look the same as my recently discovered Scale bugs. #gregteam
