How to fertilize Balloon Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Balloon Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Separate cacti? Wanting to repot these golden barrel cacti as they are currently in plastic with no drainage hole. Should I separate these little guys or keep them in the same bundle? #CactusClique #NewPlantMom

Wrinkly Balloon Cactus Hi! My balloon cactus has become quite wrinkly. I assume because I’ve underwatered it! I was only watering once per month since it’s winter here. Should I be watering more frequently? I’m terrified to overwater! @SvelteKingfern @Sirlicorice #CactusClique #Cactus #SucculentSquad #babevila

Cactus 🌵 folks… is this normal? #CactusClique #SucculentSquad I’ve had him for more than a year. He gets indirect light in my east window. I used an auto diagnose app and it said not enough sunlight. I’m thinking the grafted part is dying? It was green. Or is this normal? I think the marks are scarring. He gets watered about every 2.5 to 3wks. Solid root system. Can’t lift him out of the pot at all. On his plant card you can see the color he was awhile ago. Thanks! #PlantAddict #BalloonCactus

Can anyone help me get the glue/hideous fake flower remnants off my balloon cactus? I bought this balloon cactus around a month ago at HD because I’d been wanting one so badly, and there weren’t any there which were not smited with this atrocity. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal, as I’ve removed other fake flowers from other cacti bought at the same place. A little acetone or alcohol to dissolve the glue, and bam. HOWEVER, they seem to have used cement to stick this flower on. I got so frustrated I hacked off at much as I could, but now it’s just mocking me every time I look at it. Alcohol has no worked, no matter how patiently I’ve tried and neither had acetone as I said. Anyone know how I can remove this without hurting my cute littlell cactus? 🌵🙏🏻🌸😭 #CacClique #BalloonCactus #fakeflowercurse #helpneeded #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers #babevila

Is my balloon cactus still alive? So I haven't looked at this cactus for a while and just noticed this white stuff, cactus itself is more grey than green. Is it still alive? And if yes, is it worth saving?😬
