Finding light for Safflower in your home
a window
Safflower may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Safflower in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Safflower
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Safflower after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Wanted to share an update on my Saff flower seedlings this is them now at about 3 and a half weeks old. A bit leggy from the cheap temu lights that came with my seed starting kit but do seem to be doing well. I will hopefully be adding in some grow lights to them to help so stay tuned for that #safflower #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #greggang

I have birds and threw these seeds randomly for fun, didn't think they'd grow but they did. Why are they turning yellow? Overcrowding? Another problem? I don't really grow things too much. #Safflower
