Fungi?

Would I be right in assuming this most likely is fungi on my dear philodendron? πŸ₯΄

He was impaled through two leaves with bamboo skewers from where I bought him, I cut them off, sprinkled him with cinnamon, and now a couple of weeks later, all the other wounds look great, but this one.. right at the base of the stem. It looks like this 😳

What do I do to help him? πŸ‚πŸͺ΄πŸƒ

I would spray it with hydrogen peroxide. It should help if it is mold😁
@SugaSugaYumYum1 what % should it be? πŸ€”
It needs to be at least 3%
Apple cider Vinegar and water also work to kill mold on plants if you don't have peroxide
@SugaSugaYumYum1 I have apple cider vinegar at home. What kind of mix ratio am I going for when using it? πŸ€”
2 teaspoons vinegar to 1 quart of water
@SugaSugaYumYum1 , I'll try that. Thank you very much 😊πŸͺ΄
@Linx I'm happy to help gal pal❀️
@SugaSugaYumYum1 I did go and get hydrogen peroxide for my lil guy yesterday, because I couldn't find as much about using apple cider vinegar, and I'll probably find many more uses for it in the future, this is how he looks today. 🌱

How often do you reapply? Is it a one and done deal? 😊πŸͺ΄
@Linx normally it's one and done. Just keep an eye on it but one should work.😁
