What size pot?

My monstera cutting has finally rooted. Yay!!! Does this look ready to plant? What size container would you recommend? #RootPorn #SpringIntoSummer #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewGrowth

@Goodchicken rule of thumb is 3 inches of roots. By the looks of it I would give it a few more weeks. Iโ€™m going to ask @sarahsalith and see what she thinks.
@KikiGoldblatt thatโ€™s good advice. Iโ€™ll wait it out. I had a leaf die off of it yesterday so I cut it off but it also has a new leaf developing so I wasnโ€™t sure if it needed soil asap or not
@KikiGoldblatt is right- that's a good rule. Here's what mine looks like now. Personally, I'm going to leave mine in the water longer (mainly because I'll forget about it until I see someone else's post๐Ÿ˜‰). The more roots it has, the better chance it has.

BUT if you wanted to, you could pot it up. Monsteras are tough plants. I wish I had the picture of a cutting that I kept in water for about 8 months. The roots were massive!!

Here's a philodendron gigantium that I've forgotten about. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

My seven year old just pointed it out so now he will pot this and adopt this as his own. โ˜บ๏ธ
Oh! And the size pot should be slightly bigger than the root system. Here are some pictures of some around here.
Thanks for the tag, @KikiGoldblatt
Happy she is getting roots. Hope she grows well when you pot her. ๐Ÿฅฐ
Look at those roots! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผโœจ๐Ÿ’š
