Where to trim my monstera

I think I definitely need to cut this yellow leaf off but don't know where to cut. Do I cut right where leaf meets stem or lower?

Hi there! ๐Ÿ‘‹
I usually use clean, sharp scissors or shears and cut right near where the stem meets the main stalk, more on the stem side. Looks like most of the stem is kinda yellowing too, so you might as well get rid of it all. Hope this helps! ๐Ÿ˜„
Thanks @JesssJungle! Yes, I think I'd like to get rid of it sooner rather than later so it's not leeching resources.
@kitsune absolutely yes! No need to waste any energy on a dying leaf. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Hello! You can cut right where the leaf stem attaches to the main stem of the plant. I also suggest to not tie them down. They are called petioles. Petioles need to be able to move freely. Only attach the main stem to poles. ๐Ÿฅฐ

@Perkatory I agree, I made this mistake recently in an effort to try to place the leaves where I wanted them. It strangled the petiole and yellowed it
Thanks @Perkatory and @SJD! I didn't think you could strangle the plant ๐Ÿ˜ญ
