deltoid-leaved dew plant with brown stems. #GregGang

Hey everyone, I am having a problem with my deltoid-leaved dew plant. About a week or two ago the stems began turning brown from the bottom up, and now the top leaves on two of the stems have shriveled and died. When I first got this plant it was healthy and the the stems were a light red, though the bottom had some darker brown layers. I water it about once every week when the soil is dry and it lives in my room.
Any ideas on if it’s over watering, too little sun, needs to be moved into a bigger pot, or something else? I’ve done some research but can’t tell what to do. The first two photos are the plant presently, third is when I first got it. Thanks so much #GreggersSupportingGreggers #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #DeltoidLeavedDewPlant #GregGang #PlantTherapy

@FitBrowallia good to know, thank you so much for the heads up! :)
@BonusHopsedge no need to fret! Mine does that with its stems often. I’m not sure about the leaves, but watering it once a week seems to be a little much. Make sure when you’re watering to completely soak the soil and then wait for it to become completely dry again. I water mine once about every two weeks. I’m no expert though so please take what I say with a grain of salt.
Hi Hannah! I picked up one of these 3 months ago because it looked neat and didn’t know much about it. The lower areas on my stems also turned brown, and kind of woody. If your stems are still firm, that’s good. If not, that’s not good and it has gotten overwatered and probably is rotting.

I have also noticed sometimes certain sets of leaves are weirdly soft all the time, but eventually they seemed to grow a new set from those locations and the old set shriveled. I ended up plucking the shriveled sets off with a tweezer.

I would not move it to a bigger pot, if anything a soil with more drainage or terracotta. What I would do is give it more light. I ended up getting one of those dinky and weak plant ring lights and put it 3-4” above it. You can see your plant is etoliated. It would probably be happier and stronger if it stayed more compact. These seemed to be more full sun plants from my research.

I only water when the soil is dry and the leaves are slightly softer. You can tell a few hours after you water they are very firm so that is your reference point.
This is an Ice plant and they need full direct sun to really thrive so I would put it outside and just keep watering when it's dry!
The brown wood looking stem of this succulent is an ordinary thing for this plant. This is how it usually grow
