Experiment 5: Golden Pothos & Syngonium (1 Month Results)

Hey #Greggers! 😊

💕 So happy that everyone is interested in my little at-home experiments for #ScienceWithGreg! Happy to have started the community and very excited to see #GregGang’s own science experiments! #Greggers such as @LatiTish84 @ManyLime @sassylimey @AlliesTerrarium @annapop @PlantMompy @ForFoxSake have also joined #ScienceWithGreg and cannot thank y’all enough for contributing✨🌿

⚡️With that being said, very happy to say that it’s been over a month since I’ve been rooting my #Syngonium with a #GoldenPothos via #WaterPropagation!

📸 Unfortunately I did not have another Syngonium to compare it to, but I will tell you that this cutting took off as soon as I placed a #GoldenPothos cutting in its water vessel. They’ve been receving those delicious nutrients from the GP for a month, it pushed out these beautiful roots! 😍 *and not only roots, it’s pushed out 4 new leaves since propagating! 😌🌿✨

❗️Stay Tuned for Experiment 7: Golden Pothos & Lemon Lime Philodendron 🌿😌

Look at those roots, I'm loving these experiments, I've got ZZ leaves and cutting in with GP, it's only been a few days but I'm seeing roots. I've also got Monstera Adansonii cuttings in with GP, also for a since last Thursday, I'm seeing little nubbies, hoping to see 👀 roots soon!
I need to add a GP to my random props glass. I have some random Philo leaves in a glass along with a peperomia stem & leaf.

They were leaves that fell off at one point or and that I stuck in water as my own experiment to teach myself where the node/growth point really is on these plants.
@Sassylimey These are AMAZING results, Sarah!! Love knowing that the ZZ cutting is rooting with the GP! Is it possible for you to make a post with these great results! I was so curious about the ZZ and Adansonii, so it’s great knowing GP also helps these types of plants too!! 🥰🥰🌿
@tmbryant37 If you have random props, definitely stick a GP or two in there! You can also use other Pothos if you don’t have GP 🤩✨
that’s so amazing! i love seeing these updates, i can’t wait to see more of your experiments and the results!
@kscape love 💕 it. I joined #ScienceWithGreg.
@kscape you’re one smart cookie, do you know how to prop a ZZ with a leaf? Inwas thinking about experimenting on one.
@KikiGoldblatt I’ve done it but with normal water. It took forever! I wish I knew about these experiments to try 2 ways and see if it’s faster!
