Hello, Lori. It's hard to tell if the plant is past return. You stressed the plant when you bought plant from the store, sprayed anti fungal, introduced new airflow/breeze to the plant - which this part should be tolerable. At the moment when you decided to feed the plant - that was the biggest trigger for the plant to turn into the one you have now. You never want to use fertilizers until you confirm two things: soil is in good condition and roots are good.
Please repot the plant as you were attempting to do and give it some time to see if it's going to start to recover or wilter more. Wishing you the best

@Floristsdaisy I should clarify. I got it from the store and I took so long to pot it that it got in this condition. I didn’t want to give up on it so I potted it with fresh soil and saw the black spots. I used the anti fungal spray the first and second day after potting and then I watered with food a few days later.
I agree with giving it a repot. At this point its possible it's one of the only ways to save it. Have you seen the condition of the roots?
