NEED HELP UNDERSTANDING

I took 3 top cuttings off my Monstera to propergate for a few people- all three have put out a new leaf and it’s almost as large as the one I gave them - so I went to check on my plant to see if there was new growth and they each have what seems to be 2 new leaves coming from each cut BUT they are so small, is that normal? Or Did I just reset my plant to factory settings 😭😭 I’ve took clipping from my trailing plants before to give and the new growth was never small - this is the first time I’ve taken from my Monstera though. basically if someone can explain to me what I did wrong or is this is what usually happens?

Most plants will put out a smaller leaf after being cut but it will make a large leaf next time don’t worry! πŸ˜ƒ All normal and natural 🫢
@HoyaAddict thank you jasmine!! You’re amazing!!
I did that with mine. Here are the leaves it put out since πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@PlantMompy thank you Ashley! This is such a relief I swear I don’t know why I was so emotional πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ did yours also try putting our 2 leaves at once too? Or is one not a leaf lol
This one did not try putting out two. Probably because I took my very tall plant and chopped it into as many plants as I could, took it out of the bad pot it was in anddddd then stuck them all in the same pot. I hate myself already. But, it was acclimating to its repot while working on that leaf.
Also, I didn't not realize how different the leaves are so this photo was awesome to take! I have two more of the cuttings putting out new growth and I bet they will be so tiny πŸ˜‚

I will say my other monstera that my toddler "pruned" the top leaf off of did try to put out three at a time. So it's definitely normal!
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ my daughter just β€œhelped” the new leaf my rio was trying to push out because it was β€œstuck” which it was but I just let them naturally just do it. (I’m hoping it’ll be ok, if not it’s ok)
@Vjunc I agree with Jasmine πŸ’―. That has happened to mine before when I had an accident and fell into mine and broke some stems. Like she said it’s completely normal.
Actually, Valeri - I'm pretty sure those are STEMS!! I hacked my Monstera up and all my new growth have been stems! Let me get some pictures. (:
Each new growth, that looks just like your new growth, has turned into a stem which will grow multiple leaves!
I cut mine back and they look a bit sparse. They’re growing new leaves at the top and new stems at the bottom. You’re ok. I’ve done this multiple times. It’s normal.
@KikiGoldblatt @sarahsalith @FitSedum thank you ladies so much! I’m still learning but when I saw how small the leaf was I freaked out πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ I’m glad to have this community I swear cause they would all be dead!
