1st pic is what she looks like today. 2nd pic is what she looked like a few weeks ago. She sits under a grow light 12 hours a day. Watered once since I got her 3 weeks ago. I believe this is a succulent but I have found conflicting information. Anyway she looks terrible. I can’t tell if I’ve given her too much or too little light. too much water or not enough. Any ideas what to do with her? Is she gone? @vvvelo @DreamMachine @AwesomePlants #TheWateringHole
I'd take out, inspect roots, spray with peroxide, sprinkle hormone mix and determine if it needs a smaller pot.

Then maybe position it so another pot is giving it some shade. It may need less light than your other plants.

I don't have this plant but succulents and cacti are forgiving and hardy so it will bounce back for you.
She looks dry imo, it may help to add some peat/dirt to the lava rock soil? Maybe 50/50, but id try watering more often first?
She looks dried up. Overwatering β€œtends” to look more rotten. Agree to check the roots and more shade.
Send Jack the photo and ask for advice as well. How's it doing?
@AwesomePlants I’ve been so busy the last few days. Oooo weeee I’m worn out πŸ˜‚.

And it looks the same. I gave it some water but I don’t see any difference. I’m potting up some now that I got from that other guy last week. So I think I’ll take a look at the roots of it once I finish with the potting. And yea asking Jack is a good suggestion πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
@Sonja he may take a few days to answer as they get orders processed, but he's very helpful.

I just entered giveaways and turned off sound while I potted and finally sowed succulent and cactus seeds. I have 2 more trays to sow, but these are super tiny so I'll do it with fresh eyes. Here's hoping I have a plethora of baby plants in a few months so I can move on to Remmy seeds.
@Sonja any update? How's the plant doing?
@AwesomePlants I literally just pulled it out pot!! The plant gods must’ve sent you a message to check on me πŸ˜‚.

Jack told me it was a goner last night 😒. So when I got home from work today, I said if it’s gone this will give me a chance to see his soil mix.

Well the roots look great! Do you think this can still be saved and if so how? What do I do?
@vvvelo do you have any advice about this please?
@Sonja 😳 I don't know anything about that plant or needs, but doesn't hurt to spray those roots and shake some powder on it. Put it in a snug pot and see what happens. πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ
@Sonja Do the leaves look dry? I’m not familiar with this plant. I can only guess. I see the roots look pretty good. I would try to plant it into good succulents mix with good drainage and I’d watered it well. And wait. Put it in the bright but no direct sun/grow light place.
@vvvelo the leaves were so crispy that when I picked it up they just gingerly fell off πŸ˜‚.

I posted the pics in my original question posted. I show before and after of the plant. I think I just had it too close to the grow light, but didn’t take a genius to figure that out if the leaves are that crispy eh? πŸ˜‚

But yea the roots look great so I’ll use this as my opportunity to test my growing capabilities 😬. Let’s see how this goes!! First time for everything 😁
