How do I eat and fix the fruit from this plant

#GinkoTree

Only the nut in the center is edible, do NOT eat the fleshy part of the fruit! Even touching it can cause skin irritation akin to poison ivy, so always wear gloves when handling.
Normally, you pick the fruit from the ground after it ripens and falls, then you clean off the soft pulp and wash the inside nut; use gloves it can irritate your skin. Allow the nut to dry. Then crack the shell to get at the fruit inside, then toast the fruit until golden.
Iโ€™ve never done it myself, but my neighbour explained it to me as she does it often in autumn here in Tokyo.
