I have a Chlorophytum Mandarin orange. When checking its roots the other day to see if it needs repotting I discovered these two small “bulbs”. Are they corms? #HappyPlants

@thanks for the tag Misty ♥️ @Forbes57 these are a brilliant adaptation of chlorophytums 😄 Where they grow in Africa is prone to long dry spells, so chlorophytums evolved to store extra water in these tubers, that help them survive long periods with very little water. 💦
