WHAT’S MY NAME? Join #HelpMeNameMyPlant

Can we get more than 80 members of #HelpMeNameMyPlant ? I hope so !!!
Another #plantnamesunday for me as I demand #HelpMeNameMyPlant (over 75 members!) as created by @Corinne.
So here’s a new plant with another Nepenthes (bought at the same time as the Nepenthes Gothica recently seeking a name)

This Nepenthes is known as a Red Leopard (hybrid of ventricosa x maxima) and it has some lovely coloring so I am open to all suggestions although I do like the idea of a red leopard so leopards or spotted cats might be a nice idea.

So bring out your cat spritiual animal! Know any good leopard names?

So over to you all with the best answer going to the first answer which leads to the eventual name chosen.

Thanks for finding some great names for my plants already. And more needing names too…

Wow, we are also nearly reaching 155 #cpclubthursday members so can we make 155 members before this Thursday’s Carniverous Plants Club?

Here's some examples of a Nepenthes Red Leopard πŸ† (not my plant...yet β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜€πŸ‘)
My suggestion is Feng. I’ll spare you a history lesson, but basically It comes from β€˜Fengbo’, a Chinese deity known for being depicted with leopard like skin/fur. Happy growing! πŸͺ΄πŸŒ±πŸŒΈ
Thanks @J0hn as I looked into the name and even found out some facts I didn’t know including:

China is the nation (the only nation) that hosts the most number of subspecies of leopards πŸ†!!! And I like that in China, the North Chinese leopard is more often known as a β€œgolden coin leopard.β€β€œGolden” refers to its fulvous fur and β€œcoin” comes from its black spotted patterns that are similar to copper coins circulated in ancient China.

Thanks for your suggestions and helping me to learn a little more as well

@Seymour that’s so cool! China has such a rich history! Glad I taught you something new. You learn something new every day!
Cleo, I just like the name. So regal. Like cleopatra.
Leopardo Rojo, Casablanca, Red Dawn, Comanche, Madre de Dios
@Ninabeena Nina, I’m getting a Spanish flavor with your name suggestions…which I love ! ❀️ πŸ’ƒ
@Seymour I am just an odd cookie and names pop into my head. For some reason, this plant gave me Spanish vibes which I fully embrace and appreciate πŸ€—
