Snake 🐍

Does this look like a normal root? It keeps falling out the pot. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #snakeplant

@planthoe40 that isn't really a root, it's more so the steam of the plant from when it grew from the mother plant. All snake plant roots are like a bright orangish color, and should be firm when healthy. so it all looks good to me and you can cut the system off if you like, or leave it as more roots will grow from it and maybe more snake plants if it lives long enough to do that. I'm not sure what would be the best for it as I've had snake plants that had done good with the steam left on like that and others not do too well as it started to rot. Mostly depends on what soil you have it in and the drainage of the soil, and if you let it dry out somewhat between each watering.
Yep!!!
Strangely yes!
Are you talking about this?
