Yes those look like thrips to me too, I just had these a few months ago. My monstera is a lot smaller though so it was easier to manage and make the much needed chops to very infested leaves. But I used a mix of 1/4 rubbing alcohol with 3/4 water in a spray bottle and wiped the leaves and stems and everything off twice a week for at least a month to get rid of the current ones. Then I went to once a week to get any that hatch from hidden eggs or come in again. I haven’t seen any for a month or two now, so hopefully this helps! Oh and quarantine and check other nearby plants, I found thrips on all my other monsteras and some syngoniums because I didn’t catch it soon enough
They seem to be thrips, I don’t know how to care for them on a monstera so you may want to search it
@SimpleStarters that sucks. I was still in a bit of denial I suppose. I'll head out tomorrow to get some isopropyl alcohol
@FunJacaranda did a big isolation ward room will all the plants i saw a thrip on. Others probably have them too, but if i can separate the severe cases and mild to two rooms i'll be happy

Gosh this sucks sp baaad, the big monstera has it the worst to be honest
@Nettle oh no that’s a lot of plants😒 yeah definitely isolate the not as bad from the bad cases because thrips can fly in the adult form (hence the severe spread). I also just remembered I used blue sticky traps (they’re more attracted to blue than yellow) to help limit adult movement and monitor how many adults I still have floating around. Seriously though, good luck!
@FunJacaranda i think i'm gonna need to trash so many leaves, uhgg this is hearbreaking
Im gonna order some blue stickies, thank you so much for the tip!
