Crispy leaves / overall health!

#Monstera hi there! I received this monatrea from a friend but I am not sure how to properly care for it. Any pointers? I’ve added new well draining soil to the pot!
Hello , the plant in the photo is not a monstera I believe
Wait nvm it is sorry
Does that pot have drainage holes in the bottom? These type of decorative planters often only have a single hole in the center (or none at all), so even with well-draining soil they won't have very good drainage. I'm also thinking the pot is too large for this size plant. What can happen when a pot is too big is after watering the roots absorb what they need then are left sitting in a bunch of excess damp soil. Monstera adansonii like their soil to dry out quite a bit between waterings, so if the roots are in soil that takes too long to dry out, it can lead to root rot. A standard plastic nursery pot is best, then if you wish you can place that inside a more decorative pot (with this set up it's called a cache pot).

To encourage fuller, bushier growth near the top, I'd suggest trimming back those long sparse vines. Trim them to just below a node to stimulate new growth. You can also coil them around on top of the soil and pin down a few nodes.
that is a Monstera Adansonii. you need to put a trellis, moss pole, or wooden or metal stake in that pot, and wrap the vines around the support beam, and then use garden twine or plant velcro to LOOSELY strap the vines to the support beam. you’re getting crispy tips because it’s getting direct sun, and water when the top two inches of the soil is dry.
