How often should I water my succulent clipping?
My mom gave my this succulents baby (it might not be a clipping hut idk what else to call it) and i used to mist it everyday but i feel like it's too much now... I think I want to just water it weekly but I'm not sure if that's the best course of action. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can successfully water this little baby? #help #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #planttherapy #plantaddict #newplantmom #succulents
6ft to light, indirect
2β pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
First I would put it in a smaller, shallower pot with drainage, like a tiny pot. (I like terra cotta for my succulents). Make sure itβs getting loads of light, preferably from a south or west window. Only water when the soil is dry up to your first knuckle or so- they like deep, infrequent watering depending on your other conditions. And succulents donβt love to be misted- water on the leaves can cause damage. Good luck and report back!
@MamaLinne ok I repotted it bc the roots weren't too big so i feel like it still has room to grow with out there being too much room. Also it's grown a lot bigger since the last time I tracked her. But everytime I tried to update it, it would move the picture to the next plant which was annoying π
@Momo333 ahhh she looks so happy in that! π₯Ή the terra cotta will help soak up any excess water too. What a cutie!
@MamaLinne Thank you so much! My mom gave me her when she was just a little nub π₯°
@Momo333 great advice from @MamaLinne ππΌ ππΌ since your picture changed before I saw this post, I saw Deb reccomending a smaller pot and I was thinking, βbut that little terracotta pot seems perfect!β Then I realized what it had been in before and that is now the after pic π πGood job!! Itβs so cute!!
