OMG HELP!

My #junglevelvet is completely killed herself! The stems are brown and mushy, and there was a bunch of water at the bottom of my pot that has drained out. I'm scared it's root rot! A couple leaves are stil alive, and the 2nd pic is how many leaves I had to sacrifice.
Please help, I've never experienced this before!

Does your pot have drainage? Asking cuz you said the water drained out from the bottom. Or when you water it do you not pour out the left over water from the watering? If you don’t do that that’s like not having a drainage hole as the water remains with the soil.
So it could very possibly be root rot unfortunately.
I would smell the soil first. If it smells weird then check the roots. If you find any black/mushy roots then Cut them as they are rotten.
Best of luck 🫢
@AstroMind thank you so much! Yes she's in a plastic pot with drainage which is in a ceramic pot. The weird thing is, I didn't see any water at the bottom last time I watered her.
I'm gone from my house every other week, so sometime when I've been away this has happened.
I'll smell the soil and see what happens, but I luckily didn't see any mushy roots towards the too of the soil when I checked. I'll do a more in depth check later.
Thank you again!
@PopularEmerald fingers crossed for you that it’s only a tantrum and not anything more serious 🫣
