Alright the last 4 months of my life have been spider mite over ran

Quarantine that plant and surrounding plants, spray them off completely and look for webbing on all other plants

Captain jacks dead bug brew, every few days spray the plant off with water and then soak it with captain jacks

Then you need systemic granules, you sprinkle them in the soil and mix it around and then water and you only need to do that once every 2 ish months
Hold them to the light to check the other plants to see any thing on the leaves you canโ€™t see regularly, you need to repeat the captain jacks spray down every few days until youโ€™re in the clear

But the clear is gonna be a hot minute. Iโ€™ve just now I THINK *knock on wood* beat those suckers
Water shower followed by a neem oil shower. Separate from other plants and check everyone that was around it. I lost three calatheas to these things.
Use some alcohol. Put some on a cotton ball and wipe thoroughly or spray it down with it, top soil too, and then wipe it down and repeat every other day or every few days.
@presidentfungus Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ Dayna! I have been dealing with Mealybugs on 7 plants so far this year. I am a huge fan on Neem Oil. I also keep insecticidal soap on hand too, but I always reach for Neem Oil first.

Just make sure not to use it if your plant is getting any sun at all. Also make sure to quarantine your plant as well.
@presidentfungus here are some of my plants that I used Neem Oil on.
So I went a little extreme but I was sick of dealing with the pests too ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ I made a mixture of 1 oz alcohol, 1oz insecticidal soap and a gallon of water (make enough of those ratios to fill a large enough bucket to soak the plant) then soak for 20 min. After that, spray the plant with the insecticidal soap. I did that when my husbands grandmother gave me a jade covered in spider mite webbing it was baaaaad. But theyโ€™re gone. I did a couple treatments to be sure but they died in that mixture. And the plants fine.
