Enough light?

This is my office with a large south west window. Succulents and cacti in this room. Oh and my ever loving Echeveria that has survived so far. I moved many of these from bright direct light to this room SE (construction) Us this going to be enough light. NOTE: It does get brighter on the front porch during the day. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #GrowLights #PlantTherapy #PlantShelfie

Usually succulents and cacti are super sun-loving lil guys, so they want as much light as possible to really thrive! We’re talking direct light for at least 6+ hours daily. Now, plants are pretty incredible, and can definitely adapt to a variety of indoor environments. If you keep your succulents/cacti on or right next to the windowsill, they will probably survive with this moderate indirect light, but just be aware that you’re not likely to see new growth, and they probably won’t reach their fullest potential. Your snake plant will be totally fine, as these guys are considered low-light so don’t worry about that one! But for the rest of the desert-originating plants like cacti and succulents, a supplemental grow light could help them thrive in this lower light setup since they crave full sunlight usually! Hope this helps πŸ™‚
