root rot in water help
my thai was root rotting so i changed her to water, its been three days and her roots are squishy now (they look brow bc of dirt but they are white) should i cut all the roots off? i don't what to do pls help:( #Monstera #monsterathaiconstellation #ThaiConstellation #PropagationStation
@carola Monsteras prefer soil to being water grown. You would have much better results with soil. That is what I would do if it were my plant. Good Luck!πͺ΄πΊ

@carola i wouldn't cut all the roots. I would remove whatever is soggy/mushy then wash everything really good with peroxide as per @DreamMachine. You don't have to use Leca, but I've been trying different things with my plants when soil doesn't seem to be the best fit. So far I have 8 in Leca and 6 in water, including a piece of my #monstera and they are all doing very well. It's all just trial and error. Best if luck whichever route you go.
