Is a tiny brown spider in my soil bad

#MajestyPalm
3ft to light, indirect
2” pot with drainage
Last watered 5 months ago
Spiders are good! They eat pests that are bad, so if there is something else livign in there, the spider would help with that. Although, if it was actually a spidermite instead (different arachnid) then that would be a problem ^^'
@DollBlueech26 A tiny brown spider in your soil is usually not harmfulβ€”they often help by eating pests. Tagging @Costafarmsteam for additional advice.
As long as is not a spider-mite, your plant should be fine! Spider-mites don’t get into the soil and are never alone, so it doesn’t sound is one of those. Other spiders eat many pests to keep your plant healthy, so it’s usually a good thing allowing house spiders to hang around πŸ•ΈοΈ
@CostaFarmsTeam thank you! My leaves are also starting to drop and some are curling but I already repotted the palm and watered it, I also spray it with mist two times a day but I’m scared it’s dying on me, is this normal or am I doing something wrong
