Wtf
This happened over night. Idk what's up. It's dried out now but all the dead and dried parts of the plant were literally jet black like they were spray painted. It's only sections on top the rest is OK. I was out here last night and it's wasn't like this #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantmafia #plantsmademedoit #plantshelfie #plantshelfie #purpleheart #tradescantiazebrina
16â pot with drainage
Last watered 3 years ago
@HoyaAddict yea the nights have been going back and forth between normal and chilly but nothing extreme. Everything else is OK and these are the hardest plants to kill that I have lol
@KrunchyWrap Theyâre pretty awesome ð they do grow back so fast! Ultra resilient! Itâs just odd it happened overnight ðŦ
@HoyaAddict I know it makes absolutely not sense at all and I had two other trailing plants next to it that are perfectly fine and you can look at those two funny and they start throwing a damn tantrum.
@KrunchyWrap wow those are beautiful ð maybe the weather just like everyone says I have one indoors itâs doing pretty good so far but Iâm sure Iâll have some browning they tend to brown lots
@KrunchyWrap Gorgeous!!!
@Sassylimey well I haven't smelled asparagus in while do didn't think it to be him.... hmmmm... maybe it was... UGGGHHHHAAAAGGGHHHH
I had the same problem with my zebrina! Doing great for months and then I go to water it last week and it decided it didn't need half it's leaves anymore. Through my research it actually seemed to be a sign of underwatering, which was not my first guess because a lot of the leaves weren't just black and crispy but weakening and yellowing first, which I thought would have been from overwatering. Maybe the cooler nights have just given it a little wind burn? And it's probably not as humid as it used to be outside. Maybe try adjusting the watering schedule?
@KrunchyWrap I agree with @HoyaAddict ðŊ
@unbiased yea I guess the nights have gotten to it especially since they have been so bipolar. It jsr sucks I can't move it. It's 4ft long and 2 ft tall and HEAVY AS A MF lol
Hate to lose it but idk what else to do for it bc winter is going to suck eggs

@KrunchyWrap you might just have to throw a sheet on it at night. We used to do that with some of our in ground plants when we were expecting a frost. Just get a crappy bed sheet and toss it over. Should do enough if the culprit truly is wind burn and/or cold.
