Use of sulfur fungicide vs copper fungicide

I was just reading the following comment:
Sulphur-based fungicides are alright to use on carnivorous plants. Copper-based fungicides are deadly to carnivorous plants.
Does anyone know why this is the case? Is it just with carnivorous plants or does the same apply to other plants?

I have used both on all my plants and they are fine I however do not have carnivorous plants so I don’t know about that
@Michelle5986 to be honest, I didn't even know there was a difference between sulfur and copper fungicides.
@Seymour honestly I really didn’t either until I got into Hoyas and for some reason Hoyas love sulfur it makes them grow like crazy lol
