Well, here it is! And the results are a little disappointing.
My philodendron ring of fire was blooming and it took 20+days from growth of bloom to actual opening of the bloom.
As for how it smells, it doesnβt have a smell, AT ALL. Iβm a little upset about that. But itβs all good, still pretty.

@julesplants It is a beautiful bloom though! Ring of fire is a wish list plant for me. Yours is beautiful π
@mtplantlady it really is. Iβm always captivated by the moreβ¦ flashy.. plants lol just was reallllly hoping for a scent on that bloom. Thank you thank you! The philo (moonlight) behind it encouraged me to get more philos. It did surprisingly well under my care so I felt encouraged.
@julesplants Iβm with you on that! The philos suck me in every time!! Honestly I didnβt know the ring of fire bloomed (I also love blooming plants) so now Iβve been looking on Etsy at a couple Iβve been following that I now need to buyπ³ I blame you LOL ππ
@julesplants Philos belong to the Areceae family, and these aren't known for their blooms π
. The family has about similar blooms on the most part. I do find them fascinating though!
@mtplantlady π¬π

@Araceae I donβt mind the similar blooms theyβre beautiful, I just really wanted there to be a smell. ππ
