Well, here it is! And the results are a little disappointing.
My philodendron ring of fire was blooming and it took 20+days from growth of bloom to actual opening of the bloom.
As for how it smells, it doesn’t have a smell, AT ALL. I’m a little upset about that. But it’s all good, still pretty.

@julesplants It is a beautiful bloom though! Ring of fire is a wish list plant for me. Yours is beautiful 😍
@mtplantlady it really is. I’m always captivated by the more… flashy.. plants lol just was reallllly hoping for a scent on that bloom. Thank you thank you! The philo (moonlight) behind it encouraged me to get more philos. It did surprisingly well under my care so I felt encouraged.
@julesplants I’m with you on that! The philos suck me in every time!! Honestly I didn’t know the ring of fire bloomed (I also love blooming plants) so now I’ve been looking on Etsy at a couple I’ve been following that I now need to buy😳 I blame you LOL πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@julesplants Philos belong to the Areceae family, and these aren't known for their blooms πŸ˜…. The family has about similar blooms on the most part. I do find them fascinating though!
Wow. I had no idea these could flower!!! Congratulations!! That’s amazing!
Aww, congrats it’s so pretty 😍
@mtplantlady πŸ˜¬πŸ˜… ooopsieess lol. Enjoy your new ring of fire πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
@Araceae I don’t mind the similar blooms they’re beautiful, I just really wanted there to be a smell. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@elisenavidad me either! I was definitely not expecting it lol
