Just wanted to share an update on my little #WhiteKnightphilodendron that was putting out what looked to be an all white leaf last week. Turns out he had a little surprise for me!
I have dark brown hair, but on the back of my head, just off center, I have a white patch of hair about the size of a US quarter. I call it my “Wild Streak”. Seems Sir Plancelot has the same, but in the negative! 😆🤪😍

@TheConservator Right?!? It is truly a one of a kind! It looks like the next leaf is already on the way and appears to have a pink tip. Maybe that will stay, maybe not. It’s like Christmas each time a new leaf comes out! 🤣🎁🪴

Also!! It’s funny cause i was just reading about this condition a few days ago, but about your “wild streak” (awesome name btw,) you might have Poliosis, which is where certain spots in someone’s hair naturally grows without pigment (like vitiligo, but hair!) I find it very interesting, and very cool to see, especially since it is quite rare! A very unique and beautiful trait, just like your plant!! Very cool!!!!

@RealRhapsispalm so you're PART ALBINO???? 😱😱😱 My uncle has a friend that's a quarter albino, he has a white stripe on his hair that apparently when young, his teacher thought he dyed his hair 😂😂😂. Lovely leaf!
