I’ve been really surprised to see many of my plants popping out new leaves in the past week, but this one from my #WhiteKnightphilodendron has really been exciting to watch. I’ve only had him since early December, and this is the second leaf he’s put out, but it’s coming out all white! I didn’t know they would do that! (Yes, I’ve seen it all over now that I’ve started looking. πŸ˜†) I just get a little giddy every time I look at it and it’s not even opened up yet. πŸ˜πŸŒ±πŸ’— (Also I just realized that it looks like he has eyes, so maybe he’s staring right back at me. πŸ₯°) #FreshLeafFriday #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #TropicalPlants #Philodendron #

I took that on my last watering Swear the vines look like they are fake lol
That’s so gorgeous how exciting! I would love to see a photo when the leaf is fully unfurled! Keep that plant it bright indirect light to keep up the white color!
@PiousGermanivy Thank you! I totally can’t unsee the eyes now and it makes me love him even more! It’s gonna get really awkward though when those roots start growing out! 🀣🀣🀣🀣
@TheConservator I think it’s the lighting. Your plants, which are gorgeous btw, look like they were shot in a studio because you have good, diffused, even light coming from multiple directions. (I was a professional photographer for many years.)

Mine looks odd because I had to do a lot of color correcting due to the amber-colored bowl in the background (it confused my phone’s camera sensors). I also had to pump up the shadows quite a bit because I didn’t have good frontal light, so the stem was quite dark. So you weren’t exactly wrong. 😁
Well thats cool to know ! Thought i was going crazy and ai was generating our photos or something lol
Jk πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but not jk πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
@Lil_Chloe Thank you! I can’t wait for it to come out! Where he is right now he gets very early morning sun (he gets to watch the sunrise from across the room) and then light from the full-spectrum LEDs I have in my pendants on the counter he sits on and whatever indirect light comes in through the windows.
@TheConservator Nope! Not this time at least. πŸ˜„. You just did a good job taking the picture. 😁
Love it! The white knight philo is one of my most favorite plants. They are stunning and you are right, a total joy to watch. πŸ₯°
@TheConservator being a photographer it’s just lighting. If you took the same picture at a different time of day it would be different. Good photo!! Great Hoya! Love the shine on the leaves. 🌱🌱🌱
