She's blooming! πŸ₯°
🌟 Check out the current πŸ“Έ of her journey before the next chapter! πŸ‘€ πŸ’š

Thursday I'm gonna cut the bloomstalk and repot her. πŸ€“

She's primed to grow right now and definitely needs a bigger pot... I waited too long to repot her and I should have had her in a taller pot to begin with (the chopstick is helping her stay steady for now...) 😬 🫣

Crassula roots are thicker and grow deeper than other succulents like Echeveria or Graptopetalum. So this time around I'm gone a pot her in a cylinder shape pot which will handle the verticle growth weight better. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’ͺ🏽🌱☺️

@roxyvivien Roxy your plant growth here is outstanding!! πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ™ŒπŸ» I keep mine in my sunroom window that is south facing but never feel they are really happy & growing much.. may I ask … do you put a fertilizer on yours , if so.. what kind? and do you think a grow light would do better for mine??
Absolutely beautiful 😍 I keep trying and trying with my succulents. It's no my strong suit. Congratulations!!! @roxyvivien
Wow that is awesome!! Just starting to try succulents, I hope I have that kind of success.
That is just breathtaking 😍 Amazing job!
That’s impressive!
@courtlykingfern They 100% will appreciate a growlight 😊 indoors just isn't bright enough for them. But I will also say it's tricky with a growlight because they are verticle growers and the most they grow the closer they get to the light and the light intensity increases with less distance, so an adjustable hight grow light is best. I moved mine outside this spring, and the bloom started forming mid summer so I believe the outdoor day/night seasonal tempurature swings are what really sets blooms to happen. I've never seen a crassula bloom indoors.

As far as fertilizer, I only recommend it if they are getting a lot of very bright light but yes I use one in a minimal dose every 2-3 waterings depending on the season... With an NPK of 1-1-1 or 2-2-2 (slightly more in spring/fall or moderate summer when they are growing most).
@ehery I am absolutely planning to prop the bloom stalk. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’š
