Along with my Billietiae, I got this #philodendronsquamiferum who I am also REALLY excited about! The stems are so weird and cool.
I saw this plant last week and I went back for it this week after seeing some pics of a more mature one that @GaryPoopins posted. 😆 Thanks! ALSO any tips?! Lol.
I named this guy Shaitan (my husband says it's the origin of the word Satan and it means the old goat god on the mountain.) I asked him what name goes with Baphomet and that was his answer. Thanks, babe. 😘

@GaryPoopins thank you for the tips! 😄 Do they like to be a little more on the dry side? I just repotted him, I should find some kind of support.. if he gets much bigger, he'll need it! And yes lol he's really good at coming up with plant names. 😁
@JesssJungle mine definitely puts up with being really dry before I water. Perfect world I’d water it when still barely damp, but probably once a month I pick it up to water it and realize there’s zero moisture left in the soil and it hasn’t died on me yet.
@PricklyThumb oh awesome, aren't they super interesting plants? I am actually thinking of giving mine a bamboo stick for support. They look like they can get a little unruly lol.
@JesssJungle mine came from Canopy Plant and I was so pleased with the size for the price. I also got a philodendron joepii. I go from having zero indoor plants at this time last year to buying these plants that are going to be huge😂
