Adah (Tradescantia Zebrina)

I cut the beauty completely

She was extremely long and missing a lot of leaves so she was mostly stems

I placed her in a vase of water so she can root and then move her eventually to a hanging pot

I did this too except stuck it straight into the soil and shes doing amazing!
@AbleLionsear50 I was going to do that as well ☺️
@LaBori276 sticking them straight back in soil is the best way!! They root so quickly, and it's so much easier than potting up cuttings with roots attached. I just poke a hole in the soil with a chopstick or skewer and place the cutting. I have over 40 varieties of tradescantia and I do this method with all of them! Hasn't failed me yet 😊
@stephonicle perfect πŸ˜ƒ
If you by chance still have the nubs that were left in the soil after the cut, keep watering those too. They’ll sprout new growth in no time!
I have a baby one of these and sticking it right back in the soil works so well. It anchors down fast in as little as 5-7 days. I can’t wait for mine to get bigger like this.
