Felt compelled to share this. My first #Aglaonema, Bibi 🩷🌱

When she arrived, she only had three little leaves - all light pink and delicate. One of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. She's been with us for three months now and thriving. She was the one who started it all, really.

Since I've been sharing some of my favorite (most - if not all lol) with you the past few days, thought I'd show you some new pictures of Bibi today. Isn't she pretty?

Very pretty subtle colors. I love it
@Keysgirl0179 right? Here’s a closer look.
@Gustavo yesssss that’s so pretty. I love that deep green against it all. Thanks for sharing :)
@Keysgirl0179 thank you for your kind words!!! It’s been so much fun sharing my plant companions with the world in here haha
Very pretty! I love the delicate colors πŸ’—
Lovely
Compelled? Or forced? She’s pretty dang sassy, and I bet she doesn’t mind bossing you around. She’s so pretty (and knows it).
@TheOddAsity lol!!!!! Hahahaha I haven’t finished posting the collection! You’ll see who’s bossing everyone around veeeerrryyy soon πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@Gustavo can’t wait to see them all!
I've said versions of this a few times and mean it every time - she's like a beautiful watercolor painting. God's unparalleled artistry. πŸ™πŸŒ·
@CorvidFan beautiful words! Agreed! 🩷
...and can we take about your pots. I appreciate them each time I see them in your post, Gustavo.

I buy very little online and the only semi-transparent pots I've found in a local shop, so far are, well, rather πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ
@Gustavo She’s so dainty and such sweet pastel pink! 🀩
@CorvidFan I am extremely lucky. Most of my plants I buy from the same place - they sell online - which worries about being both sustainable and keeping plants healthy. So they use transparent plastic pots made from recycled material.

I have not yet found similar ones to buy ANYWHERE. They are simply awesome. One of my plants died and I re-used one of the pots for another plant. You can see the roots, the plant's development, and although it's a 5'' pot, they fit A LOT inside them hahaha.

I do not know if they ship internationally, but they do sell pots on their website, at folhasraras.com.br
@CorvidFan oh, it’s also AWESOME for watering. You can see if you’re watering too much in real time lol awesome pots
(It’s in Brazilian Portuguese, but if anyone is curious about checking them out, go to Produtos > Outros haha and no, I do not work for them πŸ˜‚)
@Gustavo que linda planta, as cores são muito lindas 🀩😍
@Gustavo she's so gorge!!! That color combo is stunning!
@Ms.Persnickety what a surprise and pleasure to read Portuguese here! Obrigado for the nice words ! 🩷🩷🩷🌿🌿🌿
Awwww! So cute !πŸ€ͺπŸŒ±πŸ’•πŸ™Œ
Beautiful! 😍
@Gustavo aglaonema plants are my most favorite. Hopefully they will become yours as well.
Thank-you for the link. It's fun to check out what's available in other countries.

I've attached a photo of what I found locally. They're in the style of a basic grower's pot - begging to be covered by a cache pot - cloudy where yours look frosted; covered in big scratches - every single one, all in the same way (presumably a manufacturer's flaw) and expensive at $5 CAD (18.50 BRL) for 7.5 inch wide pot (19 x 18 cm for comparison).

As it's all I could find, I bought one and... yes, 'transparent' pots are awesome, quite entertaining to be able to watch roots develop and see how the water flows through the soil. I can also see my fresh worm castings in action... I may have to tuck a tiny piece of banana peel under the surface of my never never plant for the little guy I didn't notice when repotting.
Haha.
@YammieOf3 they are! 🩷 12 and counting!
@CorvidFan You know I kinda got used to their look without a cachepot/pot?
I still put them on because I LOVE pots - sometimes a new pot gets me more excited than a new plant lol
But a transparent pot, besides all the other great aspects regarding plant development etc, has a somewhat interesting look to me. I currently have I think three or four still "in the nude" haha
I only meant I want to cover the clear-ish pots I found. When I can get my hands on the elegant design your plant seller provides, I'll start up a dedicated nudist colony for plants.

Yours are streamlined elegance and deserve to be on display, most definitely!
I've become a bit of a pot 'collector' myself. My plants sometimes get cache pots whether they need one or not...just to avoid the issue of storage.

When I see a deal or find something that's both practical and nice to look at, suddenly a pot becomes an important investment!

Even the clear pots I found locally, as much as I disparage them, I wish I bought more when I first found them. I went back a few weeks later and the price was up 25%. Not happy!
