@WormWarriorFarm , I lived in this area Florida for many decades. And I hike along that river often. I would say it’s from hurricanes.

@CutePolypremum , no. When I was younger, I used to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. Not anymore for some reason as I grew older, the mosquitoes do not seem to be attracted to me. That’s why I can get back in the swamps and take photographs.
