#Alocasia appreciation post πŸ₯³ my Tigrina Superba is working on 2 new leaves right now (pic 4). Pics 1-2 are just closeups of her other leaves because I think they are gorgeous πŸ’– I upped the contrast on the second picture so you can see the beautiful pattern! 😍🌿 And then for pic 5, my #AlocasiaPolly that grew back is ready to be moved to his own pot. Love these plants so much and I have to thank @RealSimpleMama and @Rockrlee for helping me get good at taking care of alocasias in general πŸͺ΄πŸ’š #HappyPlants #AlocasiaAddicts #AlocasiaTigrinaSuperba #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #LeafLust #PlantTherapy #babevila

Girl! My Alocasia Zebrina just put out a new leaf too!! 😜 It only had 2 sad leaves when I first brought it home 6+ months ago, I was beginning to lose hope it would ever grow another. Then the other day I see a tiny sliver of green peaking out...oh man, you would've thought I just won the lottery πŸ˜‚ Mind you, it's nowhere NEAR your massive stunning beauty! I mean, the size of those top leaves πŸ‘€πŸ˜ And that pattern! Looks like a hologram, lol 😝

Ok ok, I'll stop drooling all over your plants now 🀀😜
@PoisedAlbo so pretty! I want a Reticulata toooooo!
@stephonicle that’s awesome! Mine was actually half dead when I got it from Home Depot! It had 2 green leaves and 4 yellow droopy ones, and it was half the height. That was around 6-7 months ago, i think. I cut off the yellow ones and rinsed the roots off (they had overwatered it so bad) and repotted and she’s been doing great ever since! Congrats on your Zebrina!! It’s such a great feeling when they finally start doing well πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³
They’re gorgeous and I’m so proud of you! I’m in no way an expert either but I think this autumn/winter I’ll be ready to get some more challenging ones πŸ˜ŽπŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ
