Dracaena tree! My husband gave this to me last year for Mothers Day. It was in a planter with 2 other plants. It was maybe 6 inches tall… now- 1 year later (and a couple of up pots!) it is now 5 feet tall. 😳 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Dracaena #DragonTree #GregGang

@GivingBogarum pic with red flowers was the Dracaena when I got it was about 6” tall. Next is it as of yesterday- has blue arrows pointing to it
@SillyPlantGirl Wow!! How did you get it to grow so tall?! I've had one for 2 yrs and it's only 2ft tall!
@luvmygreenhouse I ask myself that too! I took it out of the pot it came in, repotted it in my soil mixture (cactus/succulent soil, perlite, orchid bark, and worm castings), and I only water with filtered tap. It’s outside from early spring to fall, it’s on my east facing patio. It was under the covered part, but I moved it to get the early morning direct sun and afternoon shade. Being in central Texas I water more than normal due to the heat. Whatever it is I’m doing- it seems happy, and I love watching it!
