#PlantMail of course, a new #Philodendron - meet my erubescens β€˜Dark Lord’!

This also came from a cutting, and was gifted from a friend. Look at the GIANT size of the leaf. It was EXTREMELY well rooted, too.

To be fair, we are not sure whether it is really a Dark Lord, but the leaves developed the exact same way as those do (very red and then turning deep green). It can, however, be an unknown hybrid - it was taken from his property near where we live.

I am in awe of the size of the leaf, and of course that due to that, when I was planting it, the fact that it is so heavy made the pot tip over and fall, causing chaos all over my room πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (My mom is NOT going to be happy with this)

I'm very happy and can't wait to see how it develops! It's already a statement piece in my room - when it develops more leaves, it's going to be amazing!

@PlantJedi πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I name my plants after my friends and family so I went with Stark (one of my closest friends’ nicknames). But the idea was vvv good
@PlantJedi its great for when they owe you money. β€œOkay so imma just rename that plant real quick…”
Holy bacon, Gustavo!! You’re acquiring some beauties lately!! Trapeze this guy up, too, and you can have a little planty circus and charge an entry fee to your domain! LOL
PS. LOVE the name Stark. It’s the name of one of my fave book characters.😘
Though I do also hold a special place in my heart for Darth Vader… LOL @Gustavo @PlantJedi
